new Ford Taurus Police Interceptor will be available

The new Ford Taurus Police Interceptor will be available with two powertrain options, a 3.5-litre V6 that packs 263 HP and a 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 with twin-turbos that is able to deliver 365 HP and 350 lb-ft of torque.

Some of the systems fitted inside the 2012 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor include the Blind Spot Information System, the Cross Traffic Alert, the Rear View Camera System and also Ford's SYNC.

The Ford Taurus Police Interceptor will be manufactured at the company;s plant in Chicago, Illinois.
